Bridge the Knowledge GaP
Despite advancements, the understanding of the autistic neurotype in professional training is often outdated or insufficient. Many professionals find their knowledge needs updating to align with current best practices. As a mentor with both professional and lived experience, I offer insights that bridge this gap, helping you enhance your approach and client outcomes.
Mentoring Approach for Allied Health Professionals
My mentoring approach offers valuable insights applicable to client work across various allied health professions. Though not profession-specific, the process mirrors supervision, focusing on neurodiversity-affirming practices and authentic communication.

To develop neurodiversity-affirming practices, it's crucial to listen to neurodivergent voices and learn from those who experience neurodivergence firsthand. Choosing a mentor with lived experience can provide invaluable insights. As an autistic ADHDer with a background in speech pathology, I offer a unique perspective that combines professional expertise with personal experience. This combination helps you understand your autistic or ADHDer clients better and enhances your ability to apply theory and best practices in your work.
